The wait is over - I have officially completed the hiring process for my first intern and have chosen Mackinley!
Mackinley grew up on the beautiful beaches of Southern California near San Diego. Although, she still frequently visits loved ones in the rolling hills of Montana and football-spirited Indiana. Mackinley’s eagerness to learn and travel has encouraged her to explore the world, visiting places such as Costa Rica, Mexico, Italy, and all across America.
When Mackinley is not spending time with her family and friends, she can be found competitively running or volunteering with special needs children. On top of her honors and AP courses, Mackinley is involved with the Associated Student Body, Best Buddies Club, and American Sign Language, as well as editing the school’s newspaper. While coursework and organizations occupy Mackinley’s time, her love for all seasons keeps her outdoors year round - you can likely find her swimming at the beach!
Mackinley first became interested in hospitality and event planning when she attended her cousin’s wedding. The aura of happiness charmed not only Mackinley, but also the guests as well. It was from that moment on that Mackinley knew she wanted to bring this magic to others. Mackinley is now fulfilling this dream with the exposure of event planning.
